    Front Trunk Mat Set 1969

I need to upgrade the trunk mat in my '69.
The usual suspects carry a mat set for the 65-68 cars and another set for the 70-73 cars. Does anyone know what is special about the '69 mat set? Will the 70-73 set work with minor tweaks? Has anyone done this?
    Thanks,
    Tom

Maybe the usual suspects were thrown off because there's one PET parts book for 65-69 and another for 70-73. The part numbers are the same.

    From the 65-69 parts book:

911.551.045.00 CARPET FOR FRONT TRUNK PERLON VELOUR VERSION FUEL TANK 62 L 69-

    From the 70-73 parts book:

911.551.045.00 CARPET FOR FRONT TRUNK PERLON VELOUR VERSION FUEL TANK 62 L
