    How to read space saver tire production date

    Hi,

    May be a bit silly but just wondered how to differentiate between the production date of two BF Goodyear space saver tires I have. First three pictures show the wheel on my 11.72 dated 5.5J steel wheel, last two pictures a spare tyre. On the first one I can't see anything that looks like a date, while the second one has 097 stamp. Question is the first tyre original to the steel wheel?

    Looks like mine, the first. I have never looked for the dates but assume it pre dates the wheel maybe not. My wheel is dated 9/72 for a 10/72 euro 73S.
