What was the difference between the 67S lug nuts PET # 999 182 001 20 and the the 68 lug nuts PET # 999 182 003 36?
I have Black alloy nuts on my non painted wheels and don't like the look. Hoping the 001 02 nuts are the non painted alloy nuts.
Maybe someone has 20 they want to sell or trade?

yep---67 are silver
SMC and maybe Stoddards have the '67 silvers repopped, fairly inexpensive.
The repop's are a little too shiny. But a good value and you could probably dull them.
We strip and refinish original black ones with clear ano and they are pretty close.

thanks Harvey, I don't want shiny and at 20 bucks a pop, not worth the $$ to me. I'll try stripping the ones i have. If it takes less than an hour a nut, i'm ahead..

Got these from SMC, installed right out of the box.
Don't have receipt before me, but around $10 each...

SMC shows two options.. Natural at $11 per and Silver at $80 for a complete set.. And they both show the same part number.... HMMM...
