ANDIAL Racing -- General Infos? Streetcars?

    Hey Guys,

currently I am working on a paper on Andial. Since it is quite hard to find out any inside information or deeper going informations I am hoping that some of you experts can help me.

Actually I am happy about any information you can supply for me.

For example: What are the most famous / successful cars in Motorsport that were Andial powered?
Are there any small series street cars from Andial or was every street modified Porsche a solo production?

Andial was bought by PCNA in 2013 I think. Though is there anything they still do today? Sponsoring, tuning, ...?

I would be really happy if some of you have infos for me!!!

    Regards Clemens

May not be a big help for your paper BUT: Starting in late 1980 I worked around the corner from them in Santa Anna, (Grand & St Gertrude)They used to work on most anything, 356, 911, 930, and very open to the shop. The flat 6 was their passion. A friend in Detroit sent them a 72 S motor to twin plug, port & polish and tune the mechanical injection he was running, was cool to see the progress on his motor. A great place to spend a bit of time, crazy cars around there all the time, During the season for IMSA a great time to show up on Wed, - Thursday and see them load the Team trucks going to the track, they would load in the street and fire up the cars to get it done, sweet music and awsome to be within a few feet, no one complained about the noise level. I think about 84 the company I was working for (Oil Well monitoring equipment) moved to Texas and I could not stroll by at lunch or for an afternoon break, stopped by a few times after that for parts. A wonderful place to be around in that era.

    Regards

They built my 912 in 1999. I know that's not a 911 power plant. I was referred by PCA OC and have never had an issue since. Pricey though. 8.5K 16 years ago was a lot. Met Jerry Seinfield the day I picked it up after finishing.
