So do I. Since its been off the road since 1998, and a lot of the bits are original it makes sense to refresh all lines, bushings, and rubber seals. The lower window corners were clean, no rust. The water that got in was from the passenger rear quarter window and only effected the rear passenger seat pan.
The flairs are off side to side, front - 13mm, rear - 9mm so they will be re-hung while on the Celette. They were originally lap & gas welded. So they will now be butt mig welded and level.

Well all thoughts regarding keeping the patina paint or a re-spray are now beyond the point of no return.

Charlie did a lot of the blending in of the flairs in lead. So should be some weight savings.

So did I, but slippery slope and all that. This is more the long game as it needed to be done at some point.
