    Singer Porsche 911 “Virginia”

    Singer Porsche 911 “Virginia”

This car is gorgeous, Love their builds but very pricey.

    From the article:
The latest modernized and reinterpreted classic Porsche 911 to come out of Singer Vehicle Design’s workshops is a 1990 911 Carrera 2 (964 series), affectionately named Virginia. This will be the first Singer Porsche 911 customer car to be showcased at a major Concours event.

if you dial back the OCD a bit you can save many $$

the cost to do something to the nth degree is highly non-linear

Not one of my favorite cars from them.....especially at half million. Name is starting to supersede their roots. I like their earlier cars much better. But just my 2 cents. I see the detail and quality, but again, $500K????? I don't know. I saw just as nice if not better cars driven hard at Targa CA this weekend....at a 5th of the price.

With all due deference to Singer, what are they saying that they haven't said before? It's not art if you create something new and then replicate it over and over again...

Is that a quote form Ansel Adams or from Andy Warhol?

I don't care who may or may not have said it before. It's a basic truth.

$500k - that's without options - if you want mink seat inserts - heads up display - lane change warning - self inflating tires and NOX that brings them to $700k

If that car had a red or sea green interior it would have been much nicer IMHO.
I still don't like their front spoiler. Makes the front look strange, like a duckbill.

Agreed - but Singer has thought of everything - for $18K you can have the retractable front spoiler option
