    Distributor springs

    Hello,

Does anyone have a lead on a set of springs for a Bosch 0 231 159 007 distributor? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Good idea and it worked. He has the correct new springs as he has them made and in stock. They weren't even advertised on his website as he's had problems with people complaining that try to install without a distributor machine. Kurt is the go to source for these no longer available distributor parts that can hang you up.

Yes, thanks. I looked on his website the night before you mentioned this and didn't find what I was looking for. Then, when I saw your post I decided to call him anyway and was pleasantly surprised to find he had them. The alternative was buying a used distributor and trying to salvage parts and or sending out for a rebuild and hoping they had a set of used etc. Anyway, this looks like it will be the best solution with not too much down time.

Ed Fall at Vintage Werks has them, too.
