Trying to figure out if '70 911T came with through the grille lights

Started disassembly tonight on a very clean and original 1970 Euro 911T I picked up last fall (rust-free except for headlight buckets). After removing the horn grilles and bumper I found what appear to be original brackets and wiring for through-the-grille lights. There's no mention of them on the COA, but it is a heavily optioned car (sport seats, deep sixes, S instruments, rear tow hook, etc) and COA's are often incomplete.

Was every car built with wiring/brackets for TTG's, or is their presence an indication that my car originally had these lights? Did a lot of searches but couldn't find this addressed. Pics below. There is a spade connector (power) and ring terminal (ground) on each side.

Not factory wiring in the picture . Does the wire harness to the switch with the relay appear to be factory ?

Which is weird cause all the 70 911s had the harness in the front from the factory whether the car came with factory TTG or not. Same harness was used in either below bumper or TTG fog option IIRC. The harness from the relay panel to the dash switch was added only when factory TTG installed.

Noah, the brackets were only installed with the TTG option. The correct wiring harness from the fuse block to the front area should be a two wire harness with both wires going into the light case (hot and ground). Look to see if you have these tied in with the turn signal harness just behind the front bumper. Should be white with yellow stripe and a brown ground in the same sheath. The ground should have a spade connection. The white with yellow stripe would be a bare wire soldered tip if for the US fogs or a spade for Euro 118s.

Thanks guys - much appreciated. I did notice some additional wiring tucked in behind the turn signal housings. Will investigate further tomorrow and report back.

Assuming this car did come with TTG's, it will need the Euro versions of the lights, which I understand are just about impossible to find.

Not impossible to find, you just have to know the right people. Plus they come up from time to time on a few of the typical seller sites.

You should pull your fog light switch and give us a look as well.

all the turn signal buckets have a extra harness for fogs. Michael is right, there would be a relay added next to the fuse box on a factory original setup. Not a big deal these were added all the time or could be original to the car.

The wiring that goes into that upper black relay (the one that's hanging loose with the blue/white wire wrapped around it) goes to the wiring harness that ends with the wiring pictured in the original post above (the two wires in each horn grille recess, ring terminal ground and spade power).

Wiring harness in the front doesn't seem original. Couple of pics below. Top pic is of the relay that goes to the harness. Lower pic is of the harness passing through the inner fender (grommet is to the left of the battery ground wing nut).

I did find what would be the factory wiring for TTG's as part of the turn signal harness. Brown ground and white/green stripe on each side.
