    Headliner for 1968

    I think I have read most of the threads on this topic. I am really looking for any updated info on the (sources as well) most authentic headliner available for a 68 in terms of pattern and colour?

    I know this isn't the most exciting topic and has been done in the past ... but I would really appreciate any updated views on the maker/source of the most authentic headliner for the 1968.

    Thanks Eric. I am after a full headliner. I believe it should be on the greyish colour range but not sure if that is correct? Also I saw once a 68 headliner that had quite a distinctive, more defined texture. I am not sure if they are available? Last resort is - what is the closest type currently available in colour and texture?

    That is good of you thanks Eric. I look forward to the shots of yours as this is a difficult year to get right. Also if anyone else has a 68 - what did you use?

    Mmmm. Very odd indeed. No perforations and seems grey. Is the non-sunroof the same?

    I believe the headliner for a car with elephant hide interiors is different than on ones with basket weave for 68.

    Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
    SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

    Yes Joe - that is the kind of detail that could be useful. Lets see what Eric can find on his. I did find this on an old, non-sun roof 68. Hard to tell colour though.
