    Electrical, headlights, etc help needed

I'm working on sorting through my 71T to get it back on the road after 25 years of sitting. The car came with sugar scoops and I had picked up a set of H4's a while back to install. I installed the Daniel Stern relays to protect the turn signal stalk and upgrade the connectors. My question is how do I tell the right from the left H4?

I have all my front lights working, but no blinkers yet. I'm starting to sort through the rear lights. Is there a way to tell I have a bad flasher relay before I get all of the lights sorted at the 4 corners? Or maybe it's my turn signal stalk assembly?

I found a Porsche Bulb Application Chart on here the other day and referenced it as I'm missing and have some burned out bulbs at the rear. Can I go to the FLAPS and pick up bulbs or are our cars temperamental about what bulbs are used?

Rear turn signal light - N177102
Front and Rear side marker lights - N 177182

    thanks,

    Tom

There's no difference in H4's so you can use them on either side. Good idea to mark them though as they will be different once you adjust them.

Ha! Thanks John! These are actually H4's I bought from you a couple years ago. Just now putting them on, they look great in place of the painted (white) sugar scoops! Interesting that they have 2 different part numbers on the back 911.631.113.02 and 911.631.113.00 I googled both and couldn't find anything about handedness (is that a word?)

    Hey Tom...

Glad to see you're installing those lights. The difference in part numbers is 00 is with chrome trim rings and 02 is with black trim rings.

Got it, I guess one of them was switched to chrome as they are both chrome now.

If you have relays you can run 80/100 w bulbs. Get them from Stern, you won't find them at your flaps
