Sonauto was the French importer, from 1950 to 1999.
From 1950 to 1973, it was Auguste Veuillet's company. Then, it was a Porsche's subsidiary.

Since 1999, Porsche-France is the Porsche importer.

I have 305628S that was originally silver (6206) but is now red. A connection at Porsche said it originally sold in Frankfurt but now lives in San Diego county, CA, USA (Kardex to clarify eventually). The gauges and dashboard lettering all in German/metric units. It has the European wheel-lock ignition too. I know all that could be replaced but a much easier explanation was that it was imported into the US at some point.

Did I see a wood dash on the first car in this thread? When I got my 67S it had a wood dash but not sure when it was installed. 305607S sold Aug. 66 by Rottger in Hagen Germany. Bahama Yellow/green interior, motor 960081. Can anone read the original owners name on the Kardex or know about this badge?

Hi Richard, I believe OAN 8E still exists, but is in poor condition and in need of restoration. Happy to exchange more details by email. Best wishes, Robert

    Hi Richard

It’s still around and being restored in the U.K. although there have been no updates in a couple of years.

Period pictures you have would be great if we could see them!
