    Dredging this one up as there are still people who are confused as to what “original” means.

    Nice, here are some really great post and information about the fan restoration. I have also some cracks in my fan and would like to weld it…
    Does anybody could give some tips about the welding, especially which filler material I could use? The picture is "stolen" from the begin of this discussion...
