Your experience is really horrible and you sought the right actions from those culpable... thank you for sharing because it serves to remind us that due diligence is always necessary and that we can take nothing for granted...

CCS is the entity I sold the car to, and unlike Shaun and Michael, I was very clear that it was NOT a numbers matching car and CCS is not claiming it is either...some of us are honest brokers.

"backtogeneva" may imply it's going some place where they can do a better job.

My conversation with James Barry (PCARMARKET):

    Hello,

I wanted to reach out to you regarding the comment that our moderator removed on the 911S.

At PCARMARKET, we care significantly about accuracy as well as not allowing the disparaging of sellers automobiles. If your comments can be substantiated, you are more than welcome to forward any evidence directly to me personally and our team will review it. (I did substantiate with he aforementioned pictures of a correct stamping)

If a seller is being dishonest we certainly would want to expose this, however, if this is incorrect, you are doing extreme damage to this owners vehicle and we simply cannot allow that. .

Thank you for using the site and I appreciate your understanding.

    Thanks Tom

I already reached out to the previous owner and am waiting on a call back.

I appreciate your perspective on this and am taking it seriously. In the meantime, I did show the serial number to an air cooled tech and he said it appears correct. I know it’s just one mans opinion but I’m hoping what is written on that forum is it true.

Will keep you in the loop

Appears correct and IS correct have two different meanings.
