    Thank you Russ,

It's 'complete' (they never are) except for a few details. I'll do a few things to make it more comfortable i.e., custom R dead pedal and other interior details.

It's a lot more fun than anticipated, I look forward always to driving it.

I feel I gained a little more power switching from oversized 11 blade fan to a 5 blade for this 2056cc 912E motor. It ran too cool anyway so this will give it some heat too.

Mentioning 912E motor conjures up 'slow' and it definitely is not. It's quite quick, handles superbly and brakes well with Ferodo pads.

I typically just stare at it for a minute or so every time I go into the shop!

Installed a vintage circa '74 Prototipo. It's been part of the family since it was bought new in 1974. Love the patina.

Thumbs up Return trip from Hershey?

I missed Hershey today - had other commitments - but was in central PA this afternoon and I'm pretty sure I passed your car eastbound on the PA Turnpike. Neat looking rig! Were you carrying surfboards?

    Yes, that we were.
The Stinger 912R took 2nd place to an original 1968 911L. It was a great day.

Fantastic! Hopefully one day soon I'll get to see this great car up close at a local event.

That's cool Bert, I hope to see you next year. There was a great assortment of reasonably priced parts. Perfect day really.

That would be great, I'd love to see your car as well! I've never seen or ridden in a rare Sportmatic.

It was a surprise to me because a Keen Project Safari car was parked to the right and a 600 bhp Jagermeister tribute to our left. But all day we noted swarms of people cheecking it out and taking pics.
It's a nice way to end it's resurrection from basket case car missing everything but it's close ratio 5 speed.
We had a great trip up and back, the car ran and drove excellent without leasving a drip of oil that I could find.
