This thread brings back real memories , fresh out of undergrad the triumphs I’d been driving seemed to be getting a little long in the tooth despite still lov8ng them and a buddy was hanging with us a Summit point raceway had a new 320 I I guess 1978 and it was like a star ship in comparison , he’ll Porsches as well .
I came upon a run down off white ‘69 02 and promptly changed the wheels , the seats , added headers and side draft solexes the had it painted artic blue and off we went it was a blast to drive as well .
Unfortunately that car met a very untimely end when on a bender found the tail fin of an old Chrysler imperial to hood to miss LOl .
Later on got a ‘74 silver put a 5 sod in had her painted and retrimmed and decided to sell it to a buddy who promptly blew it up
( what that red light ? That’s been on all day !)
Got many M5’s through the eighties maybe one M 6 have an e9 presently I’m putting an e34 M5 6 into with 5 sod should be pretty quick ..
