911S 1967 canary yellow VIN 307583S Engine No. 961493 HISTORY

    Hi!

My name is Christian and this is my first post. I live in Munich Germany and this year I bought a 911S 1967 canary yellow from Adam (Unobtanium inc.) VIN 307583 . Perhaps you read the article in THE ESSES. I shipped it to Germany where it will undergo a full restauration. It’s important to me to keep the dream alive and also to find out and preserve the history of this fine car. Unfortunately there is a lot of information missing…..

As I can see from the Kardex, this car was first delivered on 13.03.1967 to Dr. Kurt Tourek in Kaiserslautern (Germany) and later it was sold to Heinz Keller in Karlsberg /Karlsbeg? Germany? US? My last piece of information is, that Adam bought the car from John H. in Greenlawn NY Long Island. John registered it there in 1995.

So there is a gap between 1967 and 1995. During this time the car was exported to the US.

Can anyone help me or does anyone have any information about his car?
I would appreciate any help so much!

    Christian

    PS:
If it is of any interest, I can provide regular information on my project. e.g. as of my (luckily finished) hunt for 4,5 fuchs and IDS…..and insane prices…
