    Cool

I think these tell most of the story...

Up until 2 years ago I was commuting in this '04 GTI/automatic ...
Before that a '98 Chevy S-10 (still have), before that a '84 Toyota SR5 long bed, before that a '71 Toyota Hilux...

I had a same 18 mile commute from the same location for 25 years....

What started in 1988 as a little over 25 minutes one way, ended in 2013 as a good hour each way for the same 18 miles.....

Now, like a few of us retired guys, my 'commute' is a bit less......... about 9 yards...........

BTW- Now, when I get stuck in commuter traffic, I go NUTS.... because NOW it's my own fault...........

    ... and so it goes

Try to drive the 70 S weekly, but mostly drive the 2008 Boxster.

My daily commute is 35 miles roundtrip....30 of which are traveled on I-95. My 2007 328i handles the commute with flying colors.....it's comfortable, has plenty of power, handles and brakes wonderfully, and the premium package's audio system sounds fantastic. I love this car!
    Cheers!

My second EV. First was a Chevy Volt...total maintenance bill after 3 years of commuting was $67. We'll see how this BMW does. One thing for sure - it has a fair amount of torque and acceleration off the line is quick and addictive.
