I've been looking for an early Porsche for sometime specifically in 1964 car. What are they worth.?

200K for a pile of rust
    400k for a driver
    800k for a nice one

I'd be interested in a $400k driver if you know of one...

So one has 400K to make a 800K car? Either price is probably off and since there are 2 buyers @400k, drivers might be more by now.

BTW 300138 was sold two years ago for 400K and is offered now for 800K, see thread:

    It might be:

350k for a pile of rust
    550/600k for a driver
    800k for a nice one

Just ran a Hagerty valuation. They are often off in a lot of valuations IMO, but interesting never-theless-

Yes, Hagerty isn't even close on this one.

I think Richard has it right.

And, IMO you can add a significant premium if it's a 901.

    And on that note...
I'm going to go out on a very skinny limb here and predict that 005 finds a new home this week.

    That is an "easy" prediction
But - in order to stay on topic - what about a price estimate for that one?

I have nothing to do with 005 and I'm certainly not a buyer.

Just a hunch on my part regarding a sale.

    As for value?

I will let seller and buyer figure that one out.
