    Who is out driving?

Fall has arrived in TX. I am sitting here, several weeks into a broken foot with a boot on the gas pedal side. Can't drive a 3 pedal car so I only see the silhouette of a targa under cover in the garage.

I hope you guys are out driving. I am starting to tire of Gran Turismo... especially since I can't use the pedals and steering wheel. Thumbs don't cut it.

    Venting over...

Ouch! Get better for the HCR!
Put my new factory hard targa top on and went for a thrill ride in the Santa Cruz mountains.
Looking forward to the 2016 HCR
    Feel better,
    Tony

Bob. I wish I could hobble into the garage and kick start the welder. Finally cool enough to work on the project and I am not physically able.

Nick, Say hey to everyone. Have a good time with both 4 and 6 cylinder groups.

Tony, Good to hear from you. Green Machine looks good with the new top. Is it quieter for the Spring trip back to TX? Glad to hear you are coming back. I spoke with Jeff last week and he said you were headed this way. Bring more of your West Coast guys with you this year. Guaranteed good time.

Yes, the foot is healing nicely. Went back to Dr this morning. Back to limited walking on Thanksgiving weekend. I might even try sitting in the tub for some welding this weekend. I don't have to tell the Dr do I?

David, I should be good to go for a New Year's Run. I guess I should start planning while I sit here on my rear. gas and brake foot. I have really adapted to Left foot driving in the DD. I have always practiced Left-foot braking in case you need it on the track. Came in very handy when I broke my foot. I admit, left foot gas is full of positional awkwardness. That foot does not belong on that side of the foot well. I guess it would be the same if I tried to right foot clutch.

    Thanks Michael.

Went to Dr last Friday. Get to start walking on it in support shoe Thanksgiving. This is a good sign of healing.

Ed, I dropped Minne on my foot. Oh wait. I dropped a motor off the stand on my foot. No, that wasn't it. I really wish I had a good story.

I was running on a soccer field. Before the rains came the clay soil fields we have had large cracks and holes in them. My foot managed to find a crack that was about 5" wide and about 6' long. Let's just say that my foot came to an abrupt stop and I kept going folding my foot in half the wrong direction. Not fun.

Healing is going well and on schedule. Will be back in the car soon.
