Is it even worth going to Pomona anymore?
Is it even worth going to Pomona anymore?
. . . depends
I only go a coupla times a year, anymore. Used to be that there was lotsa Porsche stuff to see/get --- lights/turn signals, electrical stuff like switches + relays, also emblems, wheels . . . but that stuff is kinda high-dollar, any more, + seems to 've gone . . .
. . . like the cars
(Some o' the Porsches that I've seen there, over-the-years* --- ay-yay-yaaay! . . .)
Anyway, I still like looking at the cars out in the for sale + display areas --- misc air-cooled (tons), 'Vettes (ditto), trailer trash (etc), etc . . . + I get great parking when I take an Olde Car, too . . .
. . . but mostly I go for knick-knacks, anymore . . .
. . . + beer + brauts at dawn
Anyway --- I'm planning on goin' tomorrow, so . . .
. . . more later . . . .-or-so
PS Some previous Pomonas . .

* Bench-seat Conv D w/ Rudges --- stripped to the sheet-metal --- w/ zero rust . . . + dry as a bone
Seen/experienced this AM --- @the Pomona Swap . . .
Crowds . . .
. . . cops . . .
. . . cars in COLOR --- even dead ones . . .
. . . total chaos
All this --- + bitchin' parking . . . . for $25
Love this sh!t
(You smell somethin'?)
Requisite Porsche content . . .
. . . '73.5 'T' . . .
. . . Leaf Green?
. . . now . . .
. . . find the 'Corvette'
And yes, Chuck . . .
. . . there are some Porsche parts there
. . . anybody spot the Batwagen? . . .
More requisite Porsche content . . .
I was parked behind that 68 later in the morning, 8AM . It was again a colossal waste of time as far as parts go. Otherwise, good conversation with the guys that went. Damn, that Victoria Motors Victorville Lic frame would have been a great find for me. Did you get it?
Hey LongRanger, did we meet?

Missed hearing this thing run, but . . . is this rig unique -- or what?
