Picked up 1971 S Targa last night (Some assembly required)

Last night I picked up a 1971 911S Targa that I had been trying to buy since August. Compete car but some body work is off. The mild weather today allowed me to clean it out outside. It had been sitting for many many years. The previous owner was going to paint it red and make it a track car. My plans are to return it to as close to stock as I can considering it has a 1966 901/05 motor with Webers. I was very happy with the condition of the interior. Door panels, dash and Sport Seats are very nice. Also found the manual and papers in the glove box (along with a Hall and Oates cassette). I'll be attempting my first engine drop. The fun begins.

Yes. I have all of the AC parts. The dash vents are installed and in great shape. I chanced that I might get the car so I ordered the COA several months ago. Not too many options but AC was one of them.

Yup. Factory air. I chanced that I was going to get the car so I ordered the COA. Not too many options but did have air. The dash vents are in great shape.

It sure is. I was very happy once I got all of the spare parts and trash out of it.
