    Outing one of our Members

    Attention grabbing headline, right?

So....one of our members has what is in my eyes one of the coolest Early 911s made by the factory. This car just gets me in the gut. Low mileage, numbers matching factory built Trans-Am series race car. I love the Aga blue and of course the wheels finish it off perfectly. He is too modest to talk about it though...so I figured I would do it for him.

The problem is, he never does anything with it. Sure would love to see this thing out and around at some events next year. What do you guys think?

A man with his priorities so far out of whack is not deserving of such a fine automobile- , that thing is awesome!

Yes, Jim NEEDS to drive that beast! But he is too afraid of disturbing the neighbors driving it out of the 'hood. I think a good track session would be in order - I think I can arrange that in trade for a couple of laps.

Conklin...you're such a jerk. Sad thing is, you're one of my best friends so not sure what that says about me ;-)

I'm a minor player in this saga and sometimes a little embarrassed that this car ended up with me. The car, the people who gave it life, and a record of its travels and accomplishments is an almost larger than life story. I'll do my best to tell it.

More to follow...and thanks to Dave (I guess) for getting the ball rolling.
