    I've always wondered how the jack is supposed to sit in the trunk. Is Jim's photo above the 'correct' factory way to do it?

    This is the way it was delivered to my uncle new in 69 when he picked it up at the factory but who's to say dealers or? Could have put it in a different spot! Jim

    Does anyone know why some (as per the first photo) have a black rather than green dot?

    Different length not for Porsche 911 when with black dot / shorter length. Has anyone ever measured the length ( height) of the green dot Porsche jack (specifically an example with the correct folded metal peg used for preimpact bumper not later cast peg of the impact bumper vesion?)
