Got an Email from Speccars, the Co. that does the 356 interior sound deadening, he says he can do it,
but it might take a while due to his being really busy.
Possibly a month. Possibly more, but since this thread is from 2015, another few months
probably ain't gonna freak anyone out.

    Ok...

At least I know I'm safe in developing an accurate product because there won't be competition.

    Guten Morning.
I just sent another email to Specccar in to ask if he'd be willing and able to reproduce the much discussed Sombrero.

Franz: if you go to Strähle, please pick me up a couple of those.
    I'll pay you back.
    honest.
    Thank you
    Peter

    Good morning.
Nick responded saying that he had some material, but hasn't had time to mount it on the tank yet to see if it'll work.
He said he hopes that he'll have time later this winter. I hopes so too!

Damned impressive for a first shot if you ask me! Very nice.

Understanding that you're not gonna start producing these anytime soon, can you share the material and technique details for others interested in DIY?
