    2016 Rolex 24 Porsche Corral

Who is going? I made the decision to go over the weekend and now realize tickets with garage access seem to be plentiful but infield parking is unobtainium. It has been 15 years since I last attended and the days of buying a ticket and simply driving through the tunnel, finding a parking spot close to the garages are over! I am a buyer if anyone knows of available PCA Corral parking and tickets. Thank you and hope to see some Early S members at the race!

I'll be there, driving 72 S in from Ft Worth. I have an infield parking pass, but that doesn't get you into the corral. I was told those sold out in 15 minutes. Last year for the first two days no one knew or cared and I parked in the corral, however Sunday the parking Gestapo was there and that was when I discovered you needed an additional pass to park among the elite, which were mostly water pumpers anyway. So now I'll just park down the road.

They always oversell the Infield parking passes. So if you get there late you will not be allowed in. Typical Daytona crap.

Thanks for the input....looks like the only option this late in the game is a 4 day pass with garage access and a parking pass for outside the track with a shuttle to the infield. Not a bad option but not like driving through the tunnel in your 911. Next year I will have to be quicker on my feet and buy a PCA Corral package or an infield parking pass from Daytona. I am still a buyer if someone has a spare infield parking pass!

We'll be there, but for the last four years or so, the infield parking has become radically unavailable unless you wish to settle for getting boxed in and not moving your car for hours on end.

The six of us will be in the PCA tent as always, but I now park my car outside to the north and take the shuttle in or walk thru the culverts/tunnel. It's quick and easy. No hassles, and you get where you want with relative little frustration.

Ed , it was good seeing you and your little beauty in the corral last year. Driving the silver S again, heh ? I will keep an eye out for you.

( some friends have had good fortune with parking in the Grass Roots motorsport area and hanging out there with their rental car. Near Lake Lloyd and just east of the Porsche Corral .... easy walking distance between the two. )

The new Grandstands sure look spectacular as to what we saw this weekend at the 'Roar' before the 24. The place has really changed in a year.
