venetian blinds - rear window jalousie

some years ago the question came up at pelican and a guy from australia offered some louvres-window blinds for the rear window-which i thought is a pretty neat oldschool solution for extended range summer drives with the children on the back seat. the guy disappeared as fast as he showed up and noone ever got a set of the louvres.....

by lucky chance some NOS units appeared on german bay, so direct buy and deal was done.

no drillling, no rattling noise, (of course if you drive 85 with all windows open) just jammed between the rubber and the glas, shortened the alu elements, clipped in, ready and shadow for children...

nice and easy to be removed within two minutes

Perfect accessory to a spring coil cool cushion, fuzzy steering wheel cover, and AAA sticker.

To bring this thread up again....
    I had been asked,
NOS venetian blinds are available from time2time on the european market theater.

    Is there any interest ?
At the present time I have found a nice set, silver blinds, but these can be interchanged to any color, as they are standard 50mm wide..
Pricing is mostly between 75.- to 150.- per set

    please report back..
