    And speaking of pets . . .

    . . . a pet-friendly venue . . .

. . . and not a bark to be heard ---- nor a poop to pick up

    (Zovig's already said that --- next time? . . .

    '. . . we can take the Chapster . . .')

    I'm sure that he'll tuck in nicely . . . . next to the spare ----- I'm kidding-I'm kidding . . .

    More Luftgekült, 2016 . . .

    Neat show . . .

    . . . but not little

Seems like Messers Long & Idelson 've created themselves Quite an Event. I'd guess the attendance @~3-5k? --- which isn't too-too . . . but I expect this will be a harbinger of What's to Come

Great setting. Even Zovig commented several times how the starkness of the archetecture served to high-light all the different cars. And --- despite how it looks . . . there was plenty of room --- for cars, crowds, kids . . . even canines

Speaking of crowds . . . what stood out most for me was the sheer variety of attendees --- and especially . . . the presence of younger people. Dunno 'bout everybody else, but I'd like to think that the interest in Our Kindsa Cars extends beyond those of us born before the Beatles. I'm not just talking about Hipsters and Trend-setters out to selfie themselves into fame. I'm talking about young people with notta lotta money in their pockets and only so much time on their hands who took time out on their Sunday to dive into the Industrial Heart of LA . . .

. . . to see our smelly old cars

And speaking of cars --- some of the stuff that rolled in there? . . .

The RSL, coupla REAL Carreras, 964 + 993 RSs + GT2s --- even Hester. LA has a LOT of Porsches --- including some stupid-special ones --- not just concours cars but historic/significant ones . . . so if Long & Idelson can conjour an event that draws out those cars/owners/admirers? . . .

. . . who knows? Grow this thing big enough, and Porsche might sponsor it . . . .

    . . . maybe provide a venue, even . . .
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...erience+center

(Looks like the event 's already big enough . . . and the Centre is right next to a freeway. Talk about advertising)

Anyway I'm wondering what all the Attendees came away with?

As for me, well . . . wish that I'd been able to park-up with a group of similar cars. I noticed that the 356s and some of the other 911s were a bit more 'curated.' By the time we turned-up, seemed like they were just trying to keep things moving. Maybe the Early Birds spoiled it? Seeing the queue at the entrance --- + Mr Long's expression at the gate . . . it kinda felt like the Show was bigger than expected. But --- the weather was beautiful, the crowds pleasant, the food --- well, the beer, anyway . . . good . . .

    . . . and Zovig really enjoyed herself. Whew! Cheap, too. $25? . . .

    . . . and no burn-outs, kooky music, or miss-behavior to be seen/heard/smelled/cited

    Never even saw a cop

to all those of you who attended Luftgekült and posted such amazing photos... one of the events I would truly love to attend (I have to make do with posters...)... your photos not only show me what I missed, but actually enabled me to feel like I was there in some way...
