dilemma for me - input please

    Ugh.. been dreading this post.

I currently am lucky enough to have 2 longhoods.

I think it is time to thin the herd a little.. and these two cars are the two that are most "similar" - offer the least diversity.

1 - 1969E. Documented history back to 1969. numbers match as per COA. re painted in the 1980s its original color and shows nice patina today. MFI still intact. Recent engine rebuild ~2k miles ago. Metallic silver on black. 118k miles.
2 - 1971T. Bought from original family. Documented history back to day 1. numbers match as per COA. repainted recently in its original color, but needs to be done again - as previous owner's (then) wife keyed it in a few spots. A shame because it is lovely otherwise. Recent complete restoration. 55k original miles. Lovely pastel blau as was delivered (believed to be 4 1971 T's in that color... "daeton" has one, and "neinmeister" redid one)... I think John Willhoit has one
    .
If you had to pick one to keep, which one makes more sense.

They're different cars... and I enjoy each of them... but they sort of scratch the same itch...

Other cars in the fleet now:
    993
    997gt3
    1988 m3
    1985 300d (mint)
    BMW M roadster (selling)
    suburban

Thanks for the input. For the record, this is not a For Sale ad concealed as anything else. Nothing but the M roadster is for sale. Just need some advice. First world problems.

Well, I'd obviously keep the 69E and sell me the 71T, but that's coming from a very selfish place.

In all seriousness, I'd have a hard time giving up that 69E if it was my only MFI car. For me, the MFI longhoods are where I find myself having the most fun.

Keep the 69 E. It s a unique year and model for a number of reasons. First LWB, unique wiring harness, 2.0 liter with MFI, 901 gearbox, and many other items you must know.
A 71T is a pretty nice car, but less desirable to most, I'd say. Whichever you decide, I'm sure you'll be pleased to keep one.
