Someone out there has got to have some cores that need total resto. That's all I ask.
I have some door tops that I'm willing to trade.

Hi Bob. I have someone that can restore knee pads if you have restorable cores.

    Regards,

    Bob, who would that be?
Cores is what I'm looking for. Cores to have restored then my existing ones can stay mounted. When the other is done I will mount them then restore the others to sell.

    Hi Bob,
I have a local craftsman that has done dash pads and other interior parts for over 30 years and so far I am very pleased with his work even the grain and satin black very close to original. He is currently working on a knee pad and door tops and can send photos once it is done which I expect in a day or two. He has done the dash pads and grills for me and I am very impress with his work. I am in Florida.

    Regards,
    Bob

    Hi Bob,
Here is a sample of the same knee pad after the restoration. He charges $135 for restoration of each piece. Would like to hear feedback or opinions from you or other members as well. He has also done arm rest, door top trims for 72/73 and the 69-73 front fixed pocket top trims.

    Regards,
    Bob

Those look really good. If you'd like to share your source, I'd like to send him a set. I have a set recently restored by JustDashes and I could then take side-by-side close-up photos for everyone to compare.

I'd be very interested in seeing his armrest work.

    Hi John,
He worked on the damage area and warping around the pull paddles. I really think he does excellent work.
