Seats - What year are these? Fair price for selling?

I finally got my sports seats back from Tony at Autobahn - they look and feel fantastic. Now I can sell the seats I had in the car and would love to accurately represent them.

Anyone know what year these are and what I price I should ask? Included are driver and passenger seats with headrests, rails, and seat-belt attach. All Recaro knobs are in good shape as well.

I thread-restored everything and tossed any bad cheesehead bolts, they work well, the chrome is in really good shape and are hopefully suitable for someone out there needing driver-quality seats. The leather on the seats is soft and supple (some marking on the back - see photos), the headrests are black vinyl. I can take more photos if needed.

    Thanks and happy driving,

    Glenn in San Jose, CA

'72 and '73 seats have black textured recliner mechanisms and double locks. Chrome was earlier. '72 and '73 usually had peanut headrests, yours are D type with the earlier grain/texture. Your seat covers are definitely '72-'73 texture. Earlier seats had a different grain on the stripes. Can't make out the release latch on your recliners. Button or thumb latch ? The seat covers appear original based on not having that pronounced crease where your butt sits that is so common in restored seats these days. My guess is your seats are a mix of parts from '71-'73.

I bought a very rusted set that needed recovering and sandblasting and restoration of all padding and spring box for US$300 about 3 years ago. Yours are in way better shape, but a bit of a mixed bag of parts.

The chrome recliners with two holes in the upright piece are 71 or 70. '72 and '73 were a textured black. Looking carefully at the grain, there might not enough striations and too pronounced pebbling to be '72/'73 leather, but the stripes are still wrong for the earlier cars I think. I know my vinyl better than my leather.

As for price. Here are some listings that have not sold in months. Price accordingly.

Note the 68 seats have 3 holes in the upright of the recliner are chrome. The 72 seats have 2 holes and are black.
