Hi Dirk, I post only pics of what I personally own (+500 items 63-73)
Info pic on post 28 (not post 30 i assume) is correct, its indeed a detail shot of the 1972 issue.

    I have both 2.2l 1971 and 2.4l 1972 Upholstery folders for Dealers.

I realise this thread is about brown but know a RHD 72 T with special order blue interior circa 4-50 k original miles. Needed a good clean after being laid up in storage for a decade or so but seemed pretty original. This is a close up of the blue carpet I took at the time, it might be of interest to some and not sure where else on forum to post it:

    Karim,

I have some doubts on the leatherette samples in the 1972 version.
Those samples of beige and brown leatherette look like 69-71, or`?

    Hi Karim,

    I m well into the differences 69-71 and 72/73.

The samples of the perforated inserts made me wonder. The Beige leatherette sample looks more 71 than 72 to me.
May you show a close shot of the samples of the door panel,....

There are no specifications for "door panels" on any Upholstery folders, but if you read the list below, you see for 1972, they distinuish two kind of leatherette types: perforated leather or leatherette, both for seat inlays only.
For all other surface including door panels, both materiels are flat and non perforated.

It also says Leatherette Basketweave for seat inlays, although the sample is not shown, assuming its for Recaro Sport seat inlays, only.

    (See list)

Anyone know what carpet this is? The number comes up as RS m471 rubber on some www searches bit isn't that.

I have the factory interior multiple year thick maroon book with real swatches and photos up to mid 70s but didn't see it there. Nor on my paper parts books up to 73. Could've missed it of course
Anyone decode part number to models and years and colour.
Interested to know what material it is velour or whatever ? Year and applications ?

Two rears and a front nos just one parts sticker. I have other NOS carpet separate for 73 rhd like on my RS tucked away as spare but this not exactly the same when compared closely but might just be a batch variation
