    They are bimetal. They do have hubcap dents.

    They (I have some bimetal 3.7s here to look at) look like the same stamping to me as the production wheels.
    That begs the question if all centers changed at the same time?

    Except for the C2 of course.....
    Wonder why they didn't continue in production the 3.9 when the decision was made to make the C2 wheels thicker than the rest of the wheels?

    I have original Lemmerz 3/65 and they are 3.9 on 911

    I have 3/65 original to 4 23 65 production final date 911 It is a 3.9

    What about the 906 wheels? I think they lack the 3 dents on the center, but I may be wrong, and they are supposed to have been made early in 65. Correct?

    Following the evolution of the 906 wheels would be another thread. Maybe starting one in the "other Porsches" area.

    I just saw another 1/65 3.7 in the for sale forum.
    1/65 is still the latest 3.7 posted....and 3/65 the earliest 3.9.
