Then many hours spent fitting new panels. Every panel goes on and off so many times that you cannot count.

Keep the photos coming.
I like the way you attack the problems....

Those turbo panels...I'm glad I never got to use them. A real 930 is so much better.

Work continues on the front end. The modified SC inner fenders now have battery boxes and all the proper brackets for the wiring harness. A new front latch panel and lateral tank supports were sourced from Porsche and the suspension pan is from Restoration Design.

Now moving to the dash area. Everything that is fresh metal had to be hand fabricated due to the hack work they did when they "updated" the car.

Welding the A, B and C pillars. We opened the boxed channels so we could weld the inner supports. My friend Josh who has done most of the finish welding, also made these handy bead rollers for the rain gutter. He made them from a pair of bolt cutters

Rear seat pans get final welding. Keep in mind that you need to scavenge all the brackets etc from your old seat pans.

Fitting the rear quarter panels. We mocked up the suspension so we could mount some special Harvey Weidman 7R's on the front and 8R's on the rear. So if there was any fiddling that needed to be done to the alignment of the quarter panels, we would have the luxury to do so.

Then the final mock up of all the body panels. Selective hammer and dolly work as well as leading in all the gaps where necessary. Eastwood makes a great "lead free" body solder that definitely has a learning curve but once you figure it out, it works really well! With the body solder applied, you can work the surface flare with a large body file. This greatly minimizes polyester fillers and all but eliminates it on fragile areas such as door jambs.
