    Frank, that would be great.

Here is the stuff supposed to be for the trunk. The 'coco-fiber-rubber' stuff (first pic) looks the same as the underside of the 1965 original backseat cushions (2nd pic), similar to Hauls 912 picture shown in earlier post.

Question remains whether this rug (last 2 pics) with the coco-rubber back-cover (1st pic) is all right for the May 1965 trunk, or that it should be the felt like stuff we also find in the 911.

    Jacques,

The charcoal/black squareweave carpet with 'coco-fiber-rubber' stuff is exactly what was in my car (301382) when I got it back in 1997.

Size: 357.2 KBThis is the original trunk carpet from my May '65 car. Let me know if you want photos of the interior carpet, which is not square weave.

    Excellent!

    If that's a wig I want one.

Perfect head gear for a stuffy Porsche event.

1318 is currently on a storage lift so it's a bit difficult to photograph at the moment however here are a couple of quick shots. The car is unrestored and the carpet is low pile and is original to the car. Carpet is on the floor as well- no rubber mats (they came later). Note the leather shifter boot. It also has leather around the pedal openings. I bought the car from the original owner's nephew who has owned it since 1970. His uncle bought it new and the car was featured in the Nov '65 issue of Panorama. Car should be back on the road later this year. Although it is low mileage, I took the engine apart to re-seal and check everything as it had been sitting for so long. It still had its original cup style tensioners (yes, I'm replacing) and except for worn top ring lands was in excellent shape.

Wow 356rider this is really great info. If you have no pepita, could you post pics from the seats as well, especially a close up of the pleats?
