Pardon the newbie question, but what are "airport" gears? Is that a closer ratio or taller top gear(s)?

"Close Ratio", stays in the power band. "Airport" is good short track or Auto-X gearbox. Put it in 1st, floor it, count to two quickly and shift. Repeat until you run out of engine at about 115 mph, no top end. Fun while it lasts. I owned a car with this very setup and you did a lot of shifting.
Porsche had other "custom" ratio boxes that could be ordered and there is about every gear ratio imaginable to build a gearbox custom fit to the engine or the application (track).

Aa, f, j, o, s oh nice, Apple update turns my capital letters to small. Self drivimg cars?

    LOL.

Aa, F, J, O, S is a ratio I've seen on other Bruce Jennings gear boxes.

    A F M S X is standard '67 fare.

    Good chart here:

And another one with the "standard" gearbox listings.

This is not a comment on the box or the price ... I would be happy to own it at the asking price.

I'm more interested in the Bruce Jennings connection. Documentation to support the claim?

If I can read correctly serial number seems to be something else than 901/52 gearboxes had from the factory......
