Can you upload a photo to what it looks like where the switch 'hit's the body to turn the light off? Also, can anyone show where the original wires 'came from' under the rear of the dash (I assume?). Thanks!

Gearby the light switch is located near the passenger side light. It is in the center of the hood hinge on the opposite side of the light. My car does not have original wiring for the light. I am looking for the original wire in very good condition.

The trunk light switch pushes on the metal arm to turn it off. The switch is the same switch as used on the door lights (901.615.601.01). It provides a ground for the light when the door or hood is opened.Name: DSC09350 trunk light & switch.jpg

Thanks Bill... my car has that little arm out the side but it's covered by the trunk lining. Anyone out there that can snap a photo of their original setup for the light? I'm thinking mine never had one...

Here is a picture of mine with the carpet in place. The carpet used to cover the arm. The clip and the routing of the wire I believe are correct.
