    COA - Transmission Issue

I am restoring a 1966 912 with matching numbers throughout the car, proper engine, etc., but when I received the COA I found that the listed transmission was 228018, while my actual transmission number is 228013. I called PCNA and was told that the Kardex also had 228018, but I think that in all probability someone misread or miss entered an 8 for the last digit, rather than the correct "3". It is probably unimportant, but it would be nice to find that the real 228018 is out there somewhere. Does anyone have 018? Transaxle is a 5spd 01.

    Thanx

If there are two transmission numbers listed on the Kardex, then they should have both been listed on the COA, with a replacement date noted.
If there is only one transmission number on the Kardek, then someone is probably mistaking a 3 for an 8, or an 8 for a 3.
