    Sales Prep Advice

Due to a pending domestic situation my 70S Coupe will soon be sold. My question to the group is how far to take fixing little issues before I put it up for sale. The car could be described best as a Hagerty #4- as it does not have a matching case (still MFI and S Spec) and has been driven over the past 10 years since it was restored. What needs to be done is paint the trunk space as it is not the original color, recover the seats (A couple of seems are apart) install the washer reservoir and replace the modern stereo with the correct radio. Not sure if the car will be immediately torn apart by the new owner for a rotisserie of will someone actually drive her as she drives great and looks presentable. Thoughts?

Would love to see some pics!

My thoughts are you probably won't recoup the money and effort put into trying to make the car (more) presentable. Leave those things to the next owner is my $0.02.

I think you should sell it as it sits and price it as a #3 car. Good Luck.

Agree. Looks better than what you described.

It looks better in the pictures but is certainly not embarrassing to drive. Paint has some little chips here and there and has a little reaction on the engine cover. I cannot say I look forward to the sales process with the number of low-ballers and flippers out there. Thanks for everyone's advice.
