    67S sport seats

I have searched but cannot find a definitive answer to this question. Would a 1967 911S Soft Window Targa have come standard with sport seats, or would these have been a special order option only? My car has them,(with no head rests, of course) but they are not listed on the Kardex with the other special order equipment (e.g. Webasto heater). Does anyone know the answer for sure? Thanks, Jim.

    Not standard.

A previous owner probably added them.

Thank you Frank, for your light speed answer. I'm presuming this owner-addition does not diminish the value of the car.

Frank, thanks for the offer......but there seems to be a line of people at my door all of a sudden.....I'll get back to you.

    My quip was deleted.

Let me make something crystal clear: If I'm going to take a run at someone I'm NOT going to do it in front of competitors.

    Incredible.

Sorry to stray, a couple Kardex things...
Your Webasto heater...not "other special order equipment", but standard fare on '67S cars.
I've been told (and agree) that Kardex is more a factory "warranty card" than a 'build sheet' listing options, hence things like the Webasto i.d number, the key codes, etc.
While much equipment is identified, much may not be.

The seats could have been added/swapped at the dealership in order to "make the sale". I have a 67S with an interior color swap not noted on the Kardex, but the original owner told me he had it done at the dealership before taking delivery. Heard it from Emory as well, whatever it took to close a deal.

Whether delivered originaly or not, added by the dealer or not, added afterwards by one of the POs or not I would care not.
I would never remove them from that car.
