post your signal red and ruby red 911

My 300700 is signal red (to-be....) and this color was only delivered in 1965 I think, like ruby red.
Later burgundy red and polo red appeared.

Pls post here pictures of signal red and ruby red cars. Please only post a picture if you are sure about which red it is, as the idea is to distinguish and separate them clearly.

    Cheers, Jacques

I think Ruby and Signal aren't the ones that get confused. They are way different. Polo and Signal might be confused until you get them together.
Signal is bright almost "orangey" compared to Polo and Ruby is dark and muted. At least that is what I see when I look at them.....
Colors on the computer may or may not help with your decision. You may have to do a spray out. It is cheaper than painting the wrong color. That is how I have made decisions in the past.

hi Harvey, I was not so much doubting what color to use. Kardex says signal red, so that it will be. I just want to get the right impression of it as I never saw one live. On screen often gives wrong impressions indeed, so I hope to get some comparison material as well ;-)

Slightly different, but there are "tons" of 356C/ SC's in signal red if you can not find pictures of early 911s.

I'd suggest getting a spray out sample/samples from John Willhoit. He will send them in the mail. Pretty well accepted as the "standard" in the 356 community.
