Does anyone have a photo or reference of a headlight mounted in this way on the front spoiler of a 911?

Has anyone encountered such a problem? Because it may be broken? Could it cause the motor problem that my father had 20 years ago? . This problem was summed up in a click with each turn of engine and loss of pressure of oil .. Could have swallowed that piece?

I can't wait to see that hood when it's done. What color will the car be?

The idea has been changing and we still prefer the yellow ligth yellow or the red it has right now ... I have been applying polish and steel wool on the chrome. This has been the result

I have been doing the relevant tests on the transparent epoxy that I am applying. Bathe a small piece and it has been 2 months on the terrace in full sun. It has not deteriorated or discolored. I bathe another piece bigger to see the degree of reflection of the light and it has not given me problems either. It is not the same a small surface that a big one so it will have to go with care. The floors have been undressed to this day and no degree of corrosion is appreciated. I guess with the warmth of summer the weather has been dry. I will have to wait for the winter and look at the humidity of the garage !!
Also I am waiting for an acquaintance to advise me to go and practice sandblasting with the spare tire of the car! I will comment on them !! I hope that with the storms everything is well there! Unfortunately I've seen enough videos to know that the thing has been complicated ...

pD: I've been investigating this car that was my grandfather's. I understand that it is a bugatti but the model is not clear to me. I tried to clarify it with the help of some interested in old cars and the most we have come to know is that we think it is a model to which some things have been added.
    Someone would appreciate the model?

Those pieces are NOT chrome, but anodized aluminum and the finish will be destroyed by heavy duty polish let alone steel wool...just sayin'

As I see in the garage ... Aluminum as you say is still bright. A couple of days ago that work and I do not think a little polished has done wrong. I have used steel wool and polish very carefully. It can become corrosive if it is used intensively as it slowly decaps the aluminum. This is what you mean? I'm going to take some photos in detail! What method do you use?

pd. I certainly had not noticed the difference between anodized aluminum and chrome!

Once the anodized finish is rubbed or scoured through, it will polish up and look like chrome. If you are OK with that look, proceed as you are doing but know that the finish/appearance will then not look original. Just depends on what you are after. In most cases for anodized trim that has become cloudy, spotted and or scratched, the only solution is to replace pieces that are still available new....or in the case of the door window frames which are NLA...have them re-anodized which is a headache in finding a reliable and competent plater.
