That process you would still considering that this is not a professional workshop .

Which product is to be given ?
That product can paint the tank?
Thank you and see if I can move that part of the car GREETINGS

That white nasty stuff is the original first layer of heavy protection that you will find on the floor, wheel arches, front and rear compartment. Also called stone guard, PVC coating. On top the factory spayed the body coor paint, yellow in your case. Primer coat was probably white on the bare metal. You might have areas without rust below the coating but since you have started I would remove all of it in order to see in which state the body is.

    Good luck,

    Cees

BTW, your tank is a regular ROW 85L tank as found in the 72/73 S and RS (not all countries though)
BTW 2, you don't need to paint the tank, it is plastic..clean in and outside and just make sure it does not leak..

    This is not our chassis
    I have some questions .
How is it that our chassis No. 911 230 0576, according to official documentation porsche, left the factory, exactly:
01/01/1972, and the chassis of this letter is 911 230 0495, lower numbers being only 85 left the factory on April 72?
Can be ? , Date, later, of the preparation?
Can be ? Which also our porsche, be modified later?
    Thanks for your answers.

    Tengo unas preguntas .

    Capo

Hello again, I bring news. I opened inside the hood to clean it up and then I put sanding rust converter, the next step is epoxy,
I am amazed at the good condition in which the piece is after 40 years. I do well to apply the epoxy to brush up converter? I read that you can lose grip. greetings and more pictures hanging ire these days I have started to "work"
    sorry for my English
