Esses 5 things you need to know about oil & fuel "cliff hanger"

I was enjoying the Lake Speed Jr article on oil and fuel until I realized it would be "continued" in the next issue. I assume it's leading us to Joe Gibbs oil for our flat tappet engines. Thinking this would have worked best as a complete article in one issue.

Well...after reading part 2 of this article, I'm really confused. I'll admit that much of the data is complex to a degree.
I understood some of it but there was a lot that was over my pea brain. I was simply hoping for a guide or chart on oil and fuel. In other words, I have a 73 911 so which brand and weight oil is best. Or, I have a GT3 so which oil is best etc. etc.

Those weren't charts, those were visual aids to show how close the surface asperities were in the different lubrication regimes. The Yellow is oil, the black is metal.

    To the Editors of Esses:

Thank you for printing this article on a "lighter" background. Nothing so aggravating as trying to read fine print on a dark one.

An issue we've tried to fix ever since the people who run the club couldn't read some of the articles.....

Then they should be labeled as such. My oil is green. I wrote long (100+ pages) detailed consulting reports with many tables and charts for a living. You never put in a chart or table without a name/number and a reference to it in the text on the same page when possible.
