Want to know more about the ALU case. Is it a 7R 2.7 ALU case or a 3.0 SC case. I've seen one ALU 2.7 case and built another, pretty rare. G

Are the early 74 series 2.7's Siluminium? Is that the same?

No, Production cases are Mag until Turbos and 3.0 Carreras in 75-76, die cast Alu. 3.0 RS's are sand cast Alu. Yes Siluminium is Alu, not sure if sand cast and die cast are both referred to as Siluminium. G.Led

Hi folks, just to clarify, the prior owners of my car did not post about it on the web. So if you see something about 9113600810 that's not from me, it's not my car.

What is that car in Hong Kong that LongRanger posted? Your guess is as good as mine. That is not the car I bought from the owner in Germany.

Here are photos of the engine in 9113600810...

    Beautiful car and history.

Is someone like Hugh or Brian tracking the fraudulent examples out there?

First reaction on the Hong Kong car was were are the battle scars? Plus the obvious things like doorcard, clock delete plug, rear slamp panel and no pictures of VIN numbers and other important details. That is not an oil sump plate. Plus the color looks way off...I believe Bill!

    Cheers,

    Cees
