Thread: What are people doing for interior storage (wallet, cell, etc)?

What are people doing for interior storage (wallet, cell, etc)?

You can't put anything in the map pockets because map pockets are make of cardboard and wear out after 10 uses. You can't put anything in the door pull pockets because they're so deep and narrow you can't fit your hand in there to get your stuff back out. Has anyone fabbed up a storage tray type thing on top of the center tunnel (or somewhere else)? It's getting annoying fishing keys and phone out of all the other stuff in the glove box. I searched but didn't find anything on this.

people have used the later console in the center (I actually have one but never put it in)

and some have put the 993 center storage into early cars - the one that goes around the e-brake handle

or you could put the later, improved design ('74-on) door pockets on

    or a rear seat delete

Are the '74 door pockets that much better?

    Do they look similar?

They worked so much better that the basic solution was used till the 993:
You can cover the pockets in vinyl to get closer to the original look. That way you don't lose the shoe scuffs on them
