    Are 3.0 and 3.2 engine cases the same?

    I know that there are small differences but could a 3.2 engine be completely rebuilt using a 3.0 case?

    Yes, except for some of the mounting for flywheel sensors for crank trigger. G

    Small differences like oil strainer?
    The only 3.0's that didn't have a strainer were the '83 cabs.
