It gets better. (TMI warning.) The closest airport to the seller was in Truckee, California. Picturesque little place. On my way back to the airport, I stopped along Lake Tahoe to take a few pics and managed to split my pants wide open. Suffice to say, Truckee is not the pants selection capitol of CA. Picture an old guy like me with briefs hanging out going door-to-door...well, you get the idea. The only thing in town that fit was a pair of sport shorts. Still got 'em.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Yeah I get the picture. Just love your sense of humor.

Steve, I have a business trip to Portland to pick up a RSR project soon. I would like to come see this car and be able to touch and smell it...you know what I mean. There is a great story behind this car. A part of me feels as if the story is not yet complete.

I'm loving the bug with the sunroof...spectacular. My wife has a huge love for bugs. Back when traveling across boarders was safe, her father traveled from Oregon to Costa Rica many times on a similar bug...crazy but true. Both her and sister would put in the back seats. No promises Steve, but let's see what we can do. All your cars look like quality drivers...let me check my pocket book.
