    1978 Porsche 928

Not to everyone's taste but I have always liked them....1978 RHD 928, single wing mirror, no sunroof, Pascha trim, auto.

Nice car! I don't think that I have already seen a RHD with just a mirror on the driver side.

The "Geneva" car is now in Portugal.

If you are tempted, please come to the Euro 928 2017:

I hope it will be a nice event, as all Euro 928's are.

Love the Pacha interior! And red paint is really nice on early 928.

Beautiful! I've always loved the early 928s.
I was in high school when the first one arrived at the local dealership
and I remember vividly staring at that car in the showroom and dreaming.
I think it stickered for about $25k! Big money then.

Many thanks for the kind comments. They are great cars. So different to a 911, amazing to think it was to be a replacement for it.

I have had the same car 2 years ago.
1978 mocha brown , one of the first 1000 produced in 1977.
    1 owner. Fantastic condition.

And I thought the same thing as Jonathan: 928 is a car 20 years forward 911SC for comfort, road going, space, solutions. It was a Game Center for engineers. It is an AMAZING car.

But she missed the first point for a Porsche: NO FUN at all!!

    Too perfect!

This is the big sin of mr. Fuhrmann : he built a car for the future but he forgot the Porsche soul.

And the brand lovers ( you could call them costumers) continued to buy the old, noisy, little 911SC...

What a pity for such an advanced project...

Btw in 2016 it's mandatory for a serious Porsche collector to have a 928 in the garage in my opinion.

Compliment Johnatan for your choice : red is a wonderful color on the first series.

Andrea, thanks for the kind comments....but I cant agree with the "NO FUN" comment. Its just a different type of fun.....the more I drive it, the more I like it.
