Historians or Archivists Need Help Something pretty cool

Well I learned something unexpected today.
I always new my 68s targa was a heavily optioned car as confirmed by certificate of authenticity.
Today I received the original cardex and found out 6 months after delivery it went back to the factory. At that time they massaged the motor for more horsepower and sent it on its way with no warranty.
Whoever owned this car had some bad intentions with it.
It toiled around Europe in 1969 probably around Germany or Holland. Does anyone have knowledge of this car. Did it race or Rally ?
    Any help appreciated
    Thanks
    Mitch

I wonder if it got the rear flares at the same time?

    Hey
I have seen a couple tsrga racers.
Maybe there was a 69 chapter of street outlaws.
Anyway with a 100l tank and lsd and rear flares it makes me curious.

A transgender enthusiast ordered it for sure but I'm guessing it actually belonged to a woman. That's why Targas were built.

    Targa race cars...
    Of course; I'm obviously mistaken.

Brilliant platform: The rear window not only makes for a wonderful speed-robbing parachute but when it pops out from all of the chassis flex or a shunt and shatters it leaves marbles for the last place car. (The 912.)

    Very 007 ish.
