    1968 L elephant hide sun visors

    See photos. They are in very nice shape,very rare, only real flaw is around tension screw on passenger side visor. Now $250 not including pivot.

    68 911 L only Mke. Ls also had elephant seat inserts and all trim panels and garnish trim.

    my last production week 911L had elephant visors but no elephant garnish trim

    i hope that my comment was not interpreted as negative. since my project doesn't have elephant hide, the question is not really on my radar, so when there is an elephant hide interior piece that isn't obvious, it's always surprising for me. i came to understand seats, dash, door panels, etc., but never really thought about sun visors.

    68 you could choose on "S" on "L" between basketwave and elephant hide...

    Question? My understanding is that all 1968 cars had the visor plastic screw base in white as my 68 does and the visor clips are also in white. This example visor is in black. That changed in 1969 as the white parts are one year only (1968) but elephant hide was only a shot run in the first production of 68 cars. Confusing? Chris
